Covid Impact

Dear Supporter,
Hope you and your family are safe and healthy by the blessings of God.
Covid has impacted not only businesses but also our regular stream of donations. Due to this construction is put on hold due to lack of funds. We have hardly recieved any donations for this project.
LRBT is the largest free eye care network in Pakistan with 19 hospitals and 57 eye centers nationwide. It is the only safety net for 22 million underprivilaged eye patients who have no one to turn to except LRBT. For most of them the choice is clear,a meal or medical treatments. Everyday more than 10,000 needy visit LRBT come with hope to see the colors of life.
We thank you for your support and trust in LRBT. We will continue to raise for this as Punjab is in dire need of this facility in this region.

Fundraising for Hospital Construction

Dear Patron,
Thank you for supporting LRBT and playing your role by donating generously to the cause.
Rahim Yar Khan District has a population of 4.8 million. It adjoins the Districts of Rajanpur (population 2 million) & Bhawalpur (population 3.7 million) in Southern Punjab & Ghotki District (population 1.7 million) in Sindh all of which will serve as its catchment area (12.2 Million). These are all desperately poor areas.
There are no free eye care facilities in the catchment area. The nearest facility is our LRBT eye hospital at Gambat which is 236 Km away. On the other side is our hospital in Lar near Multan which is 250 Km.
Our Strategic Plan has always included the opening of an eye hospital in Rahim Yar Khan as soon as we could obtain funding for civil works, equipment and also for Operating expenses.
The collections for this project have been low in the previous quarter .
We look forward to more such supporters taking part in this project .

Funds collection update

Respected Donor,
Thank you for donating to LRBT and believing in our mission of eradicating blindness from Pakistan.
LRBT plans to open the next hospital in Rahim Yaar Khan as Punjab region (this sector) has no free eye care facility near this region..
Punjab, has a population of around 110 million people, the vast bulk of who live in abject poverty. Eye care facilities especially in smaller towns and rural areas are either not available or are far beyond the reach of the poor and even the lower middle class. LRBT with its free eye car services is their only hope. There are an estimated 12. 1 million blind & visually impaired people in Punjab of which an estimated 1.2 million are blind . An additional 120,000 go blind every year.We have a long way to go to collect funds for our new hospital 's operational costs.
