We are excited to welcome spring after a long winter, and hope that you are all finding ways to enjoy the weather!
As May gets underway, our Mother’s Day initiatives are in full swing! This year, we have three major campaigns and events that surround Mother’s Day, making the month of May an incredibly busy and exciting time for The Lynn Sage Foundation.
Our first annual With Mom 4 Mom... Fighting Breast Cancer with Fitness campaign is currently happening at fitness studios around Chicago. During May 1-14, our fitness partners are holding classes to benefit The Lynn Sage Foundation. We are offering a variety of workouts; crossfit, yoga, pilates, barre, spinning, and much more! Our annual Mother’s Day eCard campaign is also underway now. For a donation of $25, you are able to send a beautiful and personalized digital Mother’s Day card to your special someone’s inbox while supporting breast cancer research. Be sure to check out our website and send a custom, inspiring card to the special moms in your life!
On Friday, May 16, The Lynn Sage Foundation Associate Board will host their second annual Summer Toast at The Underground. For $45 in advance and $50 at the door, guests will enjoy two cocktails and passed appetizers by Rockit. The Underground will feature one of their resident DJ’s to ensure an amazing night to benefit The Lynn Sage Foundation! Tickets are available now!
Regardless of the season, breast cancer research is always our focus. Dr. Jain, the current Lynn Sage Scholar, is continuing her clinical trial that investigates immunotherapy as a complimentary approach for eliminating breast cancer and we will continue to work tirelessly to raise the funds necessary to fund her work.
