Dear Lynn Sage Supporters,
Happy October! As you probably know, October is breast cancer awareness month, and if you haven’t already you will soon start to see pink popping up all around your city. This month is special to us and we’ve got so many ways that you can get involved, both in Chicago and nationally.
What makes us different is that we fund researchers in the early stages of their careers, right here in Chicago. We even offer our supporters a chance to meet our scholars about once a year and tour their labs! Our current Lynn Sage Scholar, Dr. Athanassios Vassilopoulos, is continuing to conduct important research that focuses on the study of the genetic and biochemical connection between sirtuin genes and carcinogenesis as well as tumor cell resistance. We are looking for corporate partners to join us in the fight against breast cancer. Corporate sponsors are needed for each of our major annual events, and for your support your company will receive advertising on our website, social media, and other print/online channels. We’re currently looking for partners for 2016 and have a lot of opportunities available! If you would like more information on getting a custom proposal for your company, please let us know.
Individuals can join us, too, by participating in our upcoming online silent auction for CHILL: An International Culinary and Wine Event, which will take place at the Merchandise Mart on November 12.
