In September 2024, the war in Lebanon escalated significantly, leading to evacuation orders that forced hundreds of thousands of people in affected areas to flee their homes. While those with resources rented accommodations, most sought refuge in shelters, schools, and churches, or were left to live on the streets. For this reason, in Q4, we mobilized our Made Clean program to serve the internally displaced in shelters, after identifying the critical needs on the ground. Many lacked access to proper washing facilities and essentials. Through the Made Clean program, we were able to provide mobile laundry services to the internally displaced, completing 1,689 washes and serving 416 families. Amid fear and uncertainty, Made Clean brought practical relief and hope to those struggling. The gratitude expressed by families was profound. Many shared how this small act of care brought comfort during such a dark and challenging time.
