Dear Supporters,
Every Eid, Umut Organization seeks to allocate some time and revenue to bring joy to the hearts of poor children by buying them new Eid clothes in a family atmosphere.
Our valued donors, thanks to your donations and support, we were able, as always, to purchase new clothes for 53 children in the city of Azaz - Watad Camp in northern Syria.
Watad camp includes dozens of displaced families from various Syrian governorates that were destroyed by the Assad regime and their people were displaced to northern Syria. It also includes some families affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria.
The families here are like most Syrian families, suffering from very difficult economic and living conditions. They struggle to live and secure the minimum amount of food on a daily basis. For this reason, new Eid clothes have become more like a dream for the majority of Syrian children, and Eid no longer has the joy and happiness that Syrians experienced before the war. This causes great sadness for mothers and fathers and an ugly feeling of helplessness and oppression.
From this standpoint, Umut organization decided that the Eid clothing project would continue every year despite the shortage of other basic needs of food and drink.
Dear donors, this is the fourth Eid in which we are able to implement our project thanks to your continuous support.
You have brought joy and joy to the hearts of hundreds of oppressed children in Syria and comforted their fathers and mothers.
The last of them were 53 boys and girls in Watad camp in the Azaz region on the Syrian-Turkish border. The joy of the children was very great.
Umut team spent wonderful moments with them. It was not just buying clothes, but rather enjoyable moments, spontaneous situations, and a warm family atmosphere.
Thanks to God and your continued support, we were able to bring joy to the homes of 53 displaced families. All thanks and gratitude to you from us as the Umut organization and on behalf of our people in beloved Syria.
