Throughout 2024, our children had the incredible opportunity to engage in 134 hours of music education, allowing them to develop their musical talents and refine their skills on instruments like the flute and piano. In addition to their lessons, they showcased their progress by participating in several performances at major events across the city, giving them a platform to demonstrate their hard work and creativity. These experiences not only helped build their self-confidence but also provided them with a sense of achievement and belonging.
A total of 56 children benefitted from our Music for Peace program, which specifically supports children aged 5 to 12 who face significant challenges such as malnutrition, exposure to violence, or difficult economic situations. This program is designed to offer them a safe space where they can escape from their harsh realities, express themselves through music, and build a brighter future.
As we look ahead to this year, we invite you to join us in supporting this vital initiative. By participating, you can help more children experience the transformative power of music and provide them with a chance to escape the cycle of violence and poverty that many face in their everyday lives. Together, we can make a lasting impact and offer these children the opportunity to discover hope, healing, and joy through music.
