Since the beginning of the program, we have not been looking for the great musical talents, but we want instead to form universal principles and values in the children; that instead of pickin up a gun, they’d rather decide to play a musical instrument. Also, that music may become a skill for life. This year we will have two groups for musical initiation, which will benefit 30 new children, and a music projetion group with the children who benefited from the program. Likewise, we now have an extra hour of music class each week. This way, we seek to contribute to the protection of the children in conditions of vulnerability, defined by extreme poverty and violence. Help us have music be a part of their life project.
