Mali Clinic Supplies to Protect Against COVID-19

Despite broader access to vaccine and medical supplies worldwide that has dissipated the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, its impact is far from over in many regions, such as Mali. 

While the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic took a massive toll on communities around the globe, it remains abundantly clear that those who are the most affected are those who are most vulnerable. Vulnerability in this case includes populations who do not have access to proper healthcare, and HIV+ patients who are already immunocompromised. This circumstance comprises the majority of people living in Mali. 

To remain adequately prepared throughout the course of the pandemic, GAIA Vaccine Foundation is working with local doctors and healthcare specialists at Hope Center Clinic in Bamako. While GAIA Vaccine Foundation and local doctors have found success in providing communities with an effective approach to counter the pandemic, we are still in constant need of medical supplies. 

While COVID-19 continues to permeate the delicate fabric of local Malian communities, it is imperative that our organization collaborates with local healthcare workers to fortify the wellness of the population. Our goal can only be achieved with your help. With a donation of $10, you would be providing a box of gloves to our local doctors. With a donation of $25, you would be supplying a box of masks, a crucial part of halting the spread of the disease. With a generous donation of $80, you would be providing our diligent healthcare workers with a consistent supply of disinfectant- something that without, would make treatment of ill patients impossible.
