To halt the damage of mangrove and compensate in nature, Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) a community-based non-profitable organization working in the south western coastal region in Bangladesh. BEDS have a dream that 700 km of coastal features a dynamic deltaic environment area turn into mangrove belt for the protection from river bank erosion, protection from natural disaster, improving livelihood through mangrove-based product processing. Packaging and marketing. So, the most importance is mangrove plantation, protection and conservation. In that sense local community are playing a vital role to create the mangrove forest in coastal belt by the financial support of well-wisher donor community.
BEDS and community people are working together for the mangrove conservation and restoration by their both participation and contribution. We are always grateful that our all of well wisher are supporting us for these activities.
