To get the essential services for both people and planet, mangrove protection is mandatory. To help us from coastal and climatic protection like natural barrier, protect from erosion, create home of wild life and water quality improve in coastal area, mangrove plantation and protection is most essential. Firstly, mangrove protect us from the natural disaster and climatic issues. It creates a natural barrier to protect from cyclone or storm surge.
It also contributes for livelihood improvement of the local community by producing mangrove-based product like mangrove pickle, mangrove molasses, honey and mangrove tea and so on.
BEDS and community people are working together for the mangrove conservation and restoration by their both participation and contribution. We are always grateful that our all of well wisher are supporting us for these activities.
