Triumphant Mercy's purpose is to stand with those in need and help to carry the burdens that they are under. There are so many in Lebanon in the recent years who's burden has gotten heavier and heavier. Those who were stable financially now struggle to pay rent or electricity. Essentials like food and medications are stretched as far as they can be in order to attempt to make ends meet.
Since the economic crash beginning in 2018 the Lebanese pound has been in a free fall losing 90% of it's value. Prices of necessities have skyrocketed but salaries have not changed. Medication is one of these necessities that has been pushed out of reach for many who cannot live without it. Many people are skipping days of taking medications for things like heart conditions and diabetes to try to make it last longer. So TM moved into action to help with regular monthly medications.
When so many already carry heavy burdens financially Triumphant Mercy can offer to remove one of the bricks from their backs. We are providing the needed medication for 250 people a month. Allowing them to feel a lifting of the burden that so many are under. This may allow them to not have to decide between the electricity or medication that month. They are able to put these finances toward other necessities and have a security knowing their medication is coming.
When people with chronic illnesses are able to take the needed medication and can avoid the effects that may be caused by not taking the medication or taking it sporadically. This can help them avoid having surgeries and or complications. By taking their medications on time and in a right way they will improve their quality of life and possibly even extend their lives. Giving them the ability to be there with their families and not miss the important things like the next wedding or new baby.
