Medications for Children with Cancer

Dear Supporters, 

We are deeply grateful for your generous contribution to our Medications for Children with Cancer project through GlobalGiving. Your support plays a crucial role in making sure that young cancer patients in Ghana receive the necessary medications and treatments that are so often out of reach due to financial constraints.

Project Progress:

With your help, we have been able to provide lifesaving medications to children diagnosed with cancer. To date, we have delivered 16 treatments to children in need, and have successfully partnered with healthcare providers to ensure these children are closely monitored throughout their treatment journey. We have also educated families on the importance of continuous medication and follow-up care.

The positive impact of this project has been immeasurable. Families, who previously struggled to afford medication, are now able to see their children fight cancer with the hope that they can overcome the disease. Many children have shown significant progress thanks to the medications made possible by your support.

Challenges & Ongoing Needs:

However, as with any initiative that addresses critical healthcare needs, funding for the continuous supply of these medications remains a challenge. While we’ve made strides, we are in urgent need of additional funds to ensure that the children currently receiving treatment, as well as those who will need it in the future, continue to have access to life-saving medications.
