Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Medications for Children’s Oncological Units project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned medication supply and hospital support activities have not yet begun.
Many children receiving cancer treatment in rural Nigerian hospitals continue to face serious challenges because essential oncology medicines are unavailable or too expensive for their families to afford. Some hospitals struggle with shortages of critical drugs and medical supplies needed for treatment, while certain medicines can only be sourced from outside the country.
Without timely access to these medications, many children remain at risk of delayed treatment, worsening health conditions, and reduced chances of recovery. Families are also left under severe emotional and financial strain while trying to secure treatment for their children.
This project is designed to provide essential oncology medicines, supportive medical supplies, and treatment support for children receiving cancer care in underserved rural hospitals. The project also aims to help hospitals maintain more stable access to important medications needed for pediatric cancer treatment.
With the right support, more children can receive timely treatment, improve their chances of recovery, and continue receiving care without dangerous interruptions caused by medicine shortages.
We remain hopeful that support will come so this important pediatric cancer support project can begin and reach vulnerable children and hospitals in urgent need of oncology medications.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
