Working on history about the situation of refugees in DRC in order to ensure their protection
Not much is said about the situation of refugees in the Democratic Republic of Congo, what happened to them, why did it happen, who did it and what did the world do? As per now the whole DRC is putting in place sites where massacres have been committed about Congolese but nothing at all about refugees.
We are so happy to report that in August 2nd, 2023 we mobilized refugees and participated in the Commemoration of the Genocide in DRC which is called GenoCost. We also contributed financially and issues about refugees were addressed.
Now we want to ensure that refugees do attend in these events at the national levels and that a specific time is put aside in order to focus on massacres against refugees in DRC among other crimes that have been committed against them. We refuse to be subjected to ignorance, we want to know and we want to address the injustice.
