Our Elderly Home provides a safe, caring place for elderly people found living on the streets, alone and without anyone to care for them. What began with just five elderly people has grown into a home for 45 residents: 15 women and 30 men. We provide them with food, shelter, healthcare, personal care, companionship, and the love and dignity they deserve. Our aim is simple: no elderly person should have to spend their final years hungry, homeless, or alone.
For an elderly person, being without a home is about more than having nowhere to sleep. It means having no one to listen, no one to care, and no place where they feel they belong. Our challenge is to reach these vulnerable elderly people and ensure they can live their later years safely and with dignity.
We bring elderly people who are living on the streets into a safe and welcoming home where they can begin to feel secure again. They receive three nutritious meals a day, shelter, healthcare, personal care, clothing, recreation, and companionship. But our care goes beyond their basic needs. We sit with them, listen to their stories, share meals, and make sure they know that they are not forgotten or alone. With the support of donors, we can continue providing a home, care, food, and hope
Our long-term impact is to ensure that elderly people who have experienced homelessness, poverty and abandonment can live their later years in safety, dignity and peace. Through continued care, nutritious food, healthcare, companionship and a stable home, we help reduce loneliness and vulnerability while restoring a sense of belonging and self-worth. With sustained support, we hope to reach more elderly people who have nowhere else to turn.
