Health Awareness Session with Parents

Introduction:
The second session of the Menstrual Health Awareness project was held in Sinjhoro, Sanghar, targeting parents of young girls who have reached puberty. The session aimed to educate parents about menstrual health, its management, and related issues, enabling them to support their daughters and promote healthy practices.

Objectives:

  1. To educate parents about menstrual health and hygiene
  2. To discuss the importance of proper menstrual management
  3. To address concerns and myths related to menstruation
  4. To promote healthy practices and behaviors among young girls

Session Details:

Topics covered:

  1. Menstrual cycle and hygiene
  2. Menstrual product options and usage
  3. Menstrual pain management
  4. Common myths and misconceptions
  5. Importance of nutrition and exercise
  6. Interactive discussions and Q&A sessions were held
