Hi Alumni,
Last year, I hosted a very special young volunteer at my home in the Philippines, the 20-year-old son of our alumnus, Kristen, who is now the Director of our midwifery college.
Jayden gave some of his gap year to serve Mercy in Action, the organization his parents have worked for and volunteered with since before his birth! Jayden spent the months he served with our team doing home visits and filming our clinics and the birth center staff at work in the communities we serve on three islands.
One happy result of his talent and generosity that we are enjoying this season is this wonderful, short music video/mini documentary, which tells about our work supporting mothers and babies here in the Philippines, and is narrated by one of the recipients of our care! CJ, the Filipina who did the voice-over, was pregnant at the time and receiving maternity care from Mercy in Action midwives!
And the song, "Hello World", was written just for us by a supporter!
Click to watch this wonderful video now! It will be worth the five minutes of your time, I assure you!

This video is our report this month; receive it as our gift to you as we launch our year-end charity giving season.
And please consider passing the word and telling your fellow alumni about joining this group.
Love and Blessings,
Vicki Penwell
