Balajothi's objectives are to meet all the basic needs of the disabled children, especially nutritious food. The importance of a nutritious and well balanced meal cannot be over stressed. We provide mid-day meals to every disabled child at Balajothi which ensures a healthy body leading to a healthy mind.

Apart from the nutrition, another important factor is the motivation to parents to send their disabled child to the school so they would get at least one good meal every day.  However, due to challenges with funds at times we are forced to settle with just snacks or a fruit instead of a proper meal. This impacts children's attendance at the school and in turn their health & nutrition.

Apart from nutrition, these children are taught the process of self feeding or independent eating and eating the right way, as most disabled children lack in this area of development. This is yet an essential part of our training to make every disabled child to become self reliant in feeding, among other things.

Balajothi thanks YOU donor for your warm and generous donation towards this noble cause.  We have to date raised a sum of $13686.71 against the funding target of $19,800.  We are aware of the severe economic crunch during this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and we thank YOU DONOR for your selfless act of giving, to feed the poor disabled children.  You may rest assured every dollar you have donated is being used to the fullest in support of this cause.
