First of all would like to thank you all for your support to the Children of Balajothi!
Here is a quick breakup of the amount spent on the mid-day meals served for the three months to the children of Balajothi.
August 2014 : Rs.5654.00 (~USD 94)
September 2014 : Rs.5104.00 (~USD 85)
October 2014 : Rs.5650.00 (~USD 94)
Children celebrated Indian Independence Day, Teachers Day and Deepavali in the past three months and shared their joy along with parents.
Teachers Day
On the occasion of Teachers Day, GM of Taj West End visited us and served delicious food to the children.
Also later in the months children had a day out at the neighborhood playground where they enjoyed the day playing.
Deepavali (festival of light)
During the month of Sep, together with a team of volunteers from Oracle we visited special children at Mysore and donated provisions to them and during Oct on the occasion of Deepavali with the support and contributions by Smt. Debika Banerjee & her team, Smt. Remya Sudhir & her team we distributed provisions to the Special Children in the rural areas of Bangalore and Kolar district.
