Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your donation to our project providing water buffaloes to poor farming families. Water buffaloes or popularly called carabao is a versatile work animal much-needed in the farm by farmers. The female produces offspring once a year and this multiplies the herd in no time at all. Surely they are an asset for a farming family. This reporting period with the rain starting we want to replenish the forage crops planted in the area. The forage of farmers has disappeared during the severe dry season and it is time to grow again. We are planting forage comprising grasses and shrubs of high-protein varieties like mulberries and napier. We distributed planting materials to farmers too and a total of 5 farmers has benefited from the project. Hoping you will help us donate a water buffalo to a farmer. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
