Keeping the Momentum Alive: KIWL and Mirai no Mori Partnership Update
We are thrilled to share how we have continued building on the success of the 500km KIWL charity ride in June 2024, ensuring that the momentum and spirit of community stayed strong with many exciting opportunities for engagement.
Rafting Program with KIWL Riders – September 2024
In September, several riders who completed the 500km charity ride joined us for a weekend Rafting program, volunteering as role models and mentors for the children we support. It was a day of teamwork, courage, and camaraderie, as everyone navigated the exciting rapids of a river swollen by a recent typhoon. The big waves were no match for the group’s determination and enthusiasm, making it a memorable day for all involved.
Post-Ride Celebration – September 2024
Also in September, we hosted a post-ride party to celebrate the adventure of the 500km challenge. Riders, supporters, and corporate partners gathered to watch highlights of the ride and enjoyed a special documentary that followed the journey of a first-time rider: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjpNF-s_874
Looking Ahead – Charity Run 2024
As 2024 races by, we are excited to continue collaborating with KIWL and expanding opportunities for involvement. We are now gearing up for our annual Charity Run, inspired by KIWL’s motto of “getting fit and giving back.” We look forward to bringing together even more members of our community in person in Japan, or virtually from wherever you are, in the spirit of fitness, fun, and philanthropy: https://mirai-no-mori.jp/kiwl-charity-run-2024/ & https://mirai-no-mori.jp/kiwl-virtual-charity-run-challenge-2024/
Thank you for being a part of our journey. Your continuous support helps make these moments possible!
