Challenges
- Resource Constraints: Limited funding and resources restricted the number of screening camps and the geographic area covered.
- Logistical Issues: Difficulties in reaching remote areas with poor infrastructure posed challenges for the mobile units.
- Cultural Barriers: Overcoming cultural stigmas and misinformation about breast cancer required significant effort and time.
Future Directions
- Expand Coverage: Seek additional funding to increase the number of screening camps and extend the reach to more remote areas.
- Strengthen Follow-up Care: Enhance collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure consistent follow-up care and support for diagnosed patients.
- Enhance Community Education: Develop more comprehensive and culturally sensitive educational materials and programs to address misconceptions and promote breast health.
