The winter has come with lots of snow and challenges for herders; many herders went on winter trips with their livestocks, looking for better pastures and better weather conditions for their herds due to the natural disaster called Zud. Our team traveled to the Bat-Ulzii Soum, Uvurkhangai Province despite the harsh weather. We worked in the Soum for 15 days, traveling from one bag center to another and reached 99 herder families.
We conducted First aid kit & trauma training for herders and organized medical checkups in the Bags. We, Steppe and Hoof distributed First Aid Kits to 49 herder families. There were 138 herders involved in the medical checkup; the age range was from 3-80.
We are proud to continue our projects towards a wide range of outreach programs dedicated for herders in terms of First Aid Kit supply and medical assistance and veterinary training, checkup and supplies.
On behalf of the herders you are helping, thank you so much for your support and great contribution to Mongolian community.
