1,000 Mosquito Nets to Protect Against Malaria

Project Report | Aug 13, 2008
Mosquito nets distributed to 1286 families!

By Jodie Jensen | Program Director

On April 27, 5 of our village health committees organized a malaria awareness day. Villagers saw the importance of mosquito nets and as a result we were able to distribute 1286 nets. This will affect the health and peace-of-mind of 5144 villagers. The demand has only increased as villagers have recognized how important a mosquito net is. But we are still 2474 nets short of our goal.
