As malaria continues to be a rampant disease throughout Mali and other African countries, the Alliance continues to provide mosquito nets for 24 villages. Through our distribution of nets and training on their proper use and care, villages have seen a decrease in the number of malaria cases.
This year we have distributed 680 mosquito nets to date. We continue to teach that the simple act of sleeping under a mosquito net each night can mean the difference between life and death--especially for children ages five and under.
Thank you for your support of this important and life-saving program!
Sincerely,
Jen Beckstead
