Aptitude Testing
To wrap up the semester, the Student Life and Career Services Department organized an Aptitude Testing exercise for freshmen. After taking the test, the students were led to discuss the answers to the questions for interpretation and relevance. The purpose of this activity was to introduce them to the various methods organizations use in their recruitment processes.
Town Hall Meeting
The Palm University community held its last Town Hall meeting for the semester on December 21, 2023. The University believes in creating platforms where students, staff, and faculty views and opinions are heard and respected. Therefore, the community members convene for Town Hall meetings at the beginning and end of every semester to address community-based issues and find lasting solutions to nurture and grow the university community.
The occasion provided an open forum for discussion where issues raised by staff, faculty, and students were addressed by the leadership of the university. The President also used this opportunity to provide updates to the university community about personnel, projects, achievements, and upcoming plans.
End of Semester
On December 21, 2023, the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year ended after a two-week examination period from 11th to 21st December 2023.
Carols Service
To usher the university community into the Christmas Holidays, Palm University hosted a night of Nine Lessons and Carols. There were scripture readings by students, faculty, staff, and faculty with performances from the Palm Drama Troupe, Choir, and Accapela groups.
