2023 Ends on a HIGH for Ncinci Ones Montessori

Hi friend

The last term of 2023 was busy for the children and staff at Ncinci Ones Montessori and we ended the year on a happy, high note with our Graduation Ceremony.  11 Children were assessed as School Ready and they have now gone on to Grade 1 at the local Government school at Hole in the Wall.

The best news is that our two local Directresses completed their studies and their practical exams in November 2023 and they are over the moon about this achievement!  The two ladies are using what they learnt in their studies and at Teacher Workshops to improve the Practical Life learning area in the classroom, by introducing additional 'real life' activities and this is super to see.

For our Graduation ceremony, we enjoyed a lovely braai down at the river in front of the Hole in the Wall in early December and the children and mamas really enjoyed the day.

We are welcoming 15 new children to Ncinci Ones Montessori this year and 2 new children will start each Monday.  The 'old' children love showing the new children how to carry and do activities. The beauty of mixed ages.

The new children are settling in quickly and there have been no tears.

Thank you for your support and stay well.
