Nepal Earthquake Education Fund for Girls

Dear Friends,

This reporting period, we continue to distribute much needed school supplies to girls and concentrating in Bhaktapur, Nepal because this is where our local partner the Visionary Youth Initiative Foundation led by Manila Kharki is located and they knew the area well and advise us where is the best place to distribute the supplies. The school supplies comprise writing pads, pencils and crayons. This period, we were able to distribute 200 kits. We are still seeking additional support in order to continue our education fund for the tuition and fees of needy girls and hoping that we will be successful.

Dear Friends,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kind support to our project to send to school young girls whose families were affected by the earthquake. Last reporting period, we were able to distribute educational materials such as books, pens and pad paper and this period we are supporting students in terms of their tuition fees, transportation and allowance in going to school. We are targeting to support a total of 250 students from an initial trial of 30 at the moment. Aside from school education support, we are also providing them with hygiene and sanitary kits. We are focusing on supporting students in schools located in Bhaktapur, Nepal where majority of our effort is located.
