By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friends,
Greetings and thank you very much for your support to our food security through home-gardening project in Nepal. Home-gardening is easy to do and provides quick results. This period, we are concentrating in Tigani Village in Bhaktapur and covering 75 households. The vegetables are cauliflower, corriander, bitter-gourd and carrots. We also supplied the gardeners with garden tools such as wood and dibble. The beneficiaries were very happy with our support and most of them were women.
Jed Christian Sayre is heading the work in Nepal and he has much experience with this type of project having done similar initiative during Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines
Again, thanks so much for your kind support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
