Year 2020 came with lots of challanges for all of us wround the globe and left many of us with heavy hearts but this weight was lifted with our connections with amazing supporters like you.
Every year we had the privilage to welcome our donors, supporters, volunteers, friends and familes in Nepal and work side by side in communities and share our progress and updates but this year due to global pandemic none of those became possible. So we are trying to share our important work progress of 2020 through this video.
On behalf of our community, families of porter, single mothers, children and girls we would like to thank you and we hope to continue working with you in future.
During this week of Thanksgiving, we wanted to share how thankful we are for all of our donors, friends, and families around the globe who support our life-changing work. We couldn’t do it without you. This year, due to the Pandemic, The Small World had to quickly pivot to find a way to support, connect and relieve families and communities from the crisis this virus has created for the most vulnerable families who already struggle with many challenges.
You play an incredibly important role in Helping our Children, vulnerable women and families of trekking porters, daily wage earners and single mothers and we deeply appreciate your support.
As we look ahead to the many challenges of 2021, this year’s giving Tuesday will be more important than ever for The Small World. With your help, we will provide a safe place to live, parental care, and educational opportunities for over 100 new children in our newly constructed Arhaus Children’s Home; support our ongoing programs, “Himalayan Hope Home,” “Solukhumbhu Girls Dorm,” “Community Health Center,” “Sponsorships,” and offer critical resources for our communities as well.
On December 1st, our partner, GlobalGiving, is giving away $1 Million. With $1 Million in funding available from GlobalGiving, we need your help to reach our goal of raising $50,000 to support Arhaus Children’s Home. The more you give, the larger share we get out of $1 Million USD in incentive funds.
