Happy new year, dear donor and friend, You Know Who!! There is not much to tell, due to summer vacations, but we already announced in our publications that we are ready for the next round. Hopefully, this year we’ll be able to accomplish our goal by neutering 100 local strays, or even more!! It seems to be quite a Sisyphus work, though we neutered 50 strays last year, there will always appear more dogs in the streets. The reason for this is that at weekends many tourists come to visit Tabio, and not always with the best intentions, but to abandon their family dogs and leave them terrified and disoriented.
Due to Ana’s move to Bogotá, we lost our only foster home, where some of our special strays could recover from surgery, but optimistically we’ll find another caring angel, willing to fill the gap left by our dear friend.
So, let’s do it! Let’s continue our effort, let’s fulfill the promise made to our strays!!! We are so grateful that the donations keep coming, we’ve already received a small amount that guarantees a fresh start. Thank you and blessings.
