Dear donor and friend, it’s an honour to present Felia, as a symbol for leaving the past behind and having a new start. So far, her life has not been milk and tuna. Her person left her, when she moved, together with more than 20 feline siblings. During the year we captured a lot and found good homes for the kittens, while we released the adults. But Felia had a different plan. We captured her in our trap and the vet took her in for surgery. She was so scared, and quickly sedated. Some minutes later I got a message from the vet: “We have a dilemma. Turns out that the cat is pregnant”. Now we had to move fast, looking for an appropiate foster home. And the miracle happened. Another vet texted “I’ll take her” and now we can organize the move from one vet to the other, happily looking forward to kittens, being born into a safe, kitten friendly place. Felia eventually will be spayed and find a loving home. And finally her dream of milk and tuna will come true.
