"Taiwan Life X Hondao Intergenerational Baseball Game"
Hondao co-hosted the third annual intergenerational baseball game with Taiwan Life Insurance on October 28th, bringing together players with an impressive 73-year age gap.
The event brought together the BULAO Baseball Team, Little League players from Renmei Elementary School, Youth League players from Chiaotai High School, and Adult League players from CTBC Business School. A total of 60 participants formed mixed teams for an unforgettable experience.
Legendary catcher Tseng of the Uni-Lions led the CTBC team and surprised everyone by stepping onto the field as both a coach and catcher, creating an exciting and memorable moment for all!
On game day, the young players were inspired by the perseverance and unwavering spirit of the BULAO Baseball team.
"Taiwan-Hong Kong International Baseball Game"
From November 6th to November 9th, the Eldpathy Baseball Team from Hong Kong visited Taiwan to connect with the BULAO Baseball Team.
The three-day friendly matches brought immense joy and excitement to the older adult players, filling the event with smiles all around.
"Taiwan-Japan-Korea International Baseball Game"
The Taiwan-Japan-Korea International Baseball Game was held on November 11th with the support of Kuang Tien General Hospital.
Five Taiwanese BULAO Baseball teams, the Japanese Select Team, and KOREA Koshiki gathered at Dadu River in Changhua to connect and compete through baseball.
The oldest player on the field was Mr. W, aged 82, from Japan, while Taiwan's oldest participant was Mr. Lin, aged 79, from the Simin Bulls.
The games were intense on the field, and off the field, it was just as lively. Volunteers from Kuang Tien General Hospital and Hungkuang University provided health checkups for the older adult players from a preventive medicine perspective. They offered physical fitness assessments, bone density tests, and other health services, ensuring the well-being of these dedicated baseball enthusiasts.
