2025 BULAO Baseball: 2nd Summer Camp for Older Adults and Children
We visited the tribal communities of Yilan, where the Pakelang BULAO Baseball Team joined young players from Datong Elementary School for an intergenerational summer camp.
From ages 7 to 75, BULAO players and children ran, sweated, and laughed together, showcasing the magic of baseball.
We were thrilled to welcome Coach Mingren, a member of the Pakelang BULAO Baseball Team and head coach of Taiwan’s U12 National Team, along with Coach Jingjie from Nankan High School. Through interactive coaching, they transformed every drill into a fun and inspiring lesson for the children.
The life stories of older adults are treasures for generations to learn from.
At the end of the camp, each young player received a heartfelt message: “Don’t be afraid of failure. Chase your dreams with courage, because the BULAO spirit is all about never giving up.”
