Dear Donors,
Warm greetings from Gateway Orphanage Kenya, and thank you for your continued support through GlobalGiving. We are grateful for your ongoing investment in the lives and future of the children we serve. We are pleased to share this three-month progress update with you.
At the end of the school year, just before the Christmas holiday, Gateway Orphanage proudly celebrated the children’s graduation into their next school levels. This was a joyful and encouraging milestone. The children marked the occasion with a small party and received their diplomas, which has greatly motivated them as they prepare to begin the new academic year with confidence and determination.
We are also happy to report practical improvements at the school. New desks have been built, helping to create a more comfortable and supportive learning environment for the students. These additions are already making a positive difference in daily classroom activities.
Construction work on the new orphanage building is continuing, with steady progress being made. While work is ongoing, each stage completed brings us closer to providing safer and more adequate facilities for the children.
As a member of Save Children of Mbale, we are sharing the latest available updates received from our Gateway partners. Even with limited reporting, we want you to know that your support continues to have real and meaningful impact.
