According to a report, nearly 39 percent of Pakistanis live in multidimensional poverty, with the highest rates of poverty in FATA and Balochistan. Pakistan’s MPI has shown a decline, with national poverty rates falling from 55% to 39% from 2004 to 2015. However, progress across different regions of Pakistan is uneven. Poverty in urban areas is 9.3 percent as compared to 54.6 percent in rural areas. Disparities also exist across provinces.
As a result of which, there are numerous young souls with their bright eyes and contagious smiles who cannot afford a meal or clothes. However, their determination and courage makes our heart swell with pride. We take initiative of bringing them to schools and providing them education with food and clothes.
Every season, NUR Foundation donates clothes to the underprivileged children bringing smiles and spreading love. The numbers are increasing day by day but we still make it a point to distribute as many as we can among these needy children who are the future of Pakistan. Along with providing education to them, it is very important to nurture and groom them. Above all, spread more love and happiness. Nothing could be a better experience than the smile that is seen on those innocent faces which has to be the real reward.
These children also deserve our love and attention. They are not less than anyone of us and are future of this country. Therefore, it is our duty to provide them with basic necessities which they are deprived of.
With your continued and generous support, we can make their lives better.
Keep your support coming and we hope it continues to grow in future.
Thank you so much!
