I am pleased to announce that the project was successfully completed. The new installed windows contribute to a better facility for care for children with respiratory diseases. During the cold winter season 2015-2016, the rooms in the Respiratory Diseases Department were warm, with fresh and clean air. Nice new condition of the hospital facilities resulted in better treatments of patients with respiratory diseases.
Since November 27th, 2015, when the project was complete, 362 children with ages 1 - 18 years with various acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases were treated in the Respiratory Diseases Department:• acute pneumonia,• acute obstructive bronchitis, acute bronchiolitis, • Asthma, • chronic lung processes (alveolitis, cystic fibrosis, chronic bronchitis, dysplasia).
As a result of better conditions of the hospital facilities, with new windows, these children showed faster and better healing results. This project also reduced the cost for heating, because the old windows were nor saving heat and provided no insulation to the building.
We would like to thank our donors for your generosity. Due to your help, the children with respiratory diseases benefit from a safe and adequate facility in the hospital, and have better chances to become healthy and we have a successful result of your investment. We will be happy to work together on other projects. Thank you very much for your great help!
Thanks GlobalGiving team, for this opportunity to work together!
