In the summer of 2022 we were delighted to host 11 remarkable young people from several countries for 2 months. They were all Laidlaw Foundation scholars. The Laidlaw Scholars Leadership and Research Programme sponsors scholars in 13 leading international universities, and is designed to creat a new generation of leaders determined to make the world a better place. As part of their course they travel to a developing country to learn and to share new skills.

Our Laidlaw Scholars joined us for 7 weeks and engaged in a variety of collaborative health, conservation and development projects . The Conservation Education team learned a new aworld view from our children, so valuable for future leaders. In they exchange delighted and entertained students with fresh new curricula,  art projects, games and posters. We hope that they learned as much from us as we learned from them.
