Project Report | Apr 19, 2026
2025 Wildlife Clubs at a Glance

By Marcy Doozan | Executive Director

In 2025 we had 670 students in our after-school Wildlife Clubs and 32 Wildlife Club (WLC) patrons (volunteer teachers) who helped run our clubs. We implemented the following activities this term:

Awarding Participation Certificates

We presented certificates to 290 outgoing P.6 Wildlife Club members to recognize their efforts in learning and participating in conservation activities in all sixteen KFSP-affiliated schools. Additionally, the 32 teachers were also awarded certificates for their participation as WLC patrons and patronesses in each of the sixteen schools.

International Day of Climate Action, 24th October

We celebrated the International Day of Climate Action on October 24, 2025. We engaged all our patrons from all sixteen KFSP-affiliated schools, encouraging them to participate in various conservation activities. 720 students from 16 schools took part in different initiatives, which included tree planting, demonstrations of Improved Cook Stoves, weeding trees, and giving talks that emphasized the importance of combating climate change.

General Conservation Education Post Evaluations

To understand the effectiveness of our conservation activities and determine the extent to which our interventions have influenced, we carried out the General Conservation Education Post evaluations in all sixteen KFSP-affiliated schools. We assessed 960 WLC members and non-WLC members to evaluate not only the direct impact on participants who were actively engaged in club activities, but also the direct influence the program has had on the school and community population.
