Introduction
Not for Sale, Rescuing Victims of Human Trafficking is a Project of Rescue Foundation. This is implemented at our Protection Home in Delhi. It provide protection to children and few adult women who are rescued from abusive homes, streets, runaway kids, and young girls who have been sold, abused by either parents or relatives.
Over the past years we have seen a steady flow of young girls, children, adult women or mothers with kids being rescued and sent for shelter and protection to our Home. Most of them stay for longer periods till the respective Child Welfare Committees orders release. Few are referred for a night shelter or a short stay by the Local Police or Child Welfare Committees
During the Rehabilitation Rescue Foundation provides food, clothing, shelter and conducts several awarenees sensitization programs along with Vocational Training such as Tailoring, Art & Craft, Yoga, Dance, Sports.
All children and young adults who are eligible for formal schools are sent to school with lady escorts others are provided informal education at the Home.
Each child is monitored for Health, Hygiene and awareness of self is done regularly. Children who require medical assitance are taken to local hospitals and treated.
Sessions are conducted on Legal Rights of the Children on periodic bases.
The Home is Licenced under the Indian Govt Acts for Child Care Institution Act. Thus there are regular meetings and visits of the Child Welfare Committees, the District Child Protection Units in the vicinity.

Rescue Operations: The Rescue Team works through the day and night rescuing children from Sexual Abuse, Human Trafficking and Child Labour. Rescues are conducted not just in Delhi but in Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana,

Health
Regular health checks were conducted at the Home for all the Children. 46 Critical Cases which needed treatment at Hospitals were taken to local Health Centers or Govt. Hospitals.
2 of the girls are pregnant at the time of reporting. They are taken good care and monitored through the Govt. Maternity Care Units
Education
23 Children are attending Formal Education at Schools and are being coached at the Home
9 Children are preparing to appear for their 10th Grade
4 Children are in the 12th Grade
Non Formal Education is provided for an average of 45 Children regularly
17 Childre on an average are being given special coaching at the Home
12 Children are pursuring thier Degree Course through National Open Schools

Legal Training and Child Rights awareness was conducted by the District Legal Services & Aid.
Festivals & Entertaiment
Raksha Bandhan, Independence Day was celebrated. As instructed by the District Child Protection Unit the Home telecasted the Movie Sitaare Zamin Par for all the children
Sports 43 Children are engaged in Sports Activities
