Hi Dear Donors & Friends,
We loved to tell you that we had a new class allready in action, but because of the travel restriction during the post elections period, mr. Solomon could not start in a new village. So thats being said, we want to wait until after the rain season to start again, because farmers are now full in preperation of the fields for the new season. Starting a new compost heap now will result in less attendance and a heap of compost that is not ready when the sowing and planting season is there.
So we will wait until after the rain season, like May or June, so we will have a new compost manure class graduated and a new heap of compost when the rain of November will hopefully arrive.
We had a great donation last December, so will use that to continue to educate new farmers in 2026 and maybe also in 2027. Every farmer who learns to make compost is able to make this soil healthier and will produce more crops with less fertilizer and less pesticides!
Best Regards,
Pendaeli Amos & Peter de Laat
