Dear Valued Donors,
About two weeks ago, Mr. Solomon, our Agriculture Officer, conducted compost manure training for 30 farmers from three villages: King’ori, Mbaasenyi, and Maruvango, with 10 farmers participating from each village.
The training was conducted at each village office. After the training, the farmers participated practically in making compost manure by collecting the required materials and working together to prepare the compost heaps.
The compost is expected to take approximately three months to mature and be ready for use on farms in February next year. During this period, Mr. Solomon will continue following up on the progress of the compost heaps and working closely with the farmers to ensure they are properly managed until the manure is ready for application.
We sincerely thank all our valued donors for your generous support. Your contribution is helping farmers gain practical knowledge and improve soil fertility through sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices.
Thank you very much for your continued support.
