Besme Insani continues to address the growing challenge of child malnutrition through its dedicated medical clinic in northern Syria. With many families facing food insecurity and limited access to healthcare, children are among the most affected, suffering from undernutrition and related health conditions.
The clinic plays a vital role in identifying and treating malnutrition cases through regular screenings and medical check-ups. Children diagnosed with malnutrition receive therapeutic foods, vitamins, and ongoing medical supervision. The program also emphasizes preventive care by educating caregivers on nutrition, hygiene, and early detection of symptoms.
Throughout the project period, the clinic provided essential services to a significant number of children, helping stabilize their conditions and support recovery. Continuous follow-up visits ensured adherence to treatment plans and allowed medical staff to track progress and adjust interventions when needed.
In addition to treatment, the clinic serves as a source of hope for families who otherwise lack access to healthcare. It reduces the burden on parents and offers children a chance to recover and grow in healthier conditions. This initiative reflects Besme Insani’s commitment to protecting children’s health and ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive despite challenging circumstances.
