We are pleased to share another update on the impact of the Nutritious School Meals for Girls in Rural Uganda Project. Your generous support continues to strengthen the resilience of vulnerable girls and their families during challenging economic times.
Throughout this reporting period, girls attending partner schools received nutritious meals that improved their ability to concentrate, participate, and succeed in the classroom. Teachers reported noticeable improvements in attendance and classroom engagement, particularly among students from households experiencing food insecurity.
For many beneficiaries, the school feeding program provides the most reliable meal of the day. This support not only improves nutrition but also gives girls the energy and motivation needed to pursue their education with confidence. Parents continue to express appreciation for the program's role in reducing household burdens and encouraging consistent school attendance.
Our project team conducted regular monitoring visits to ensure accountability, food quality, and effective implementation. Collaboration with school administrators and community leaders remains strong and continues to contribute to the success of the initiative.
As food prices and economic pressures continue to affect vulnerable communities, the demand for school feeding support remains high. We remain committed to expanding our reach and serving more girls who are at risk of missing educational opportunities due to hunger.
Thank you for helping build resilience through nutrition and education. Your support is empowering girls to overcome challenges, stay in school, and create brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
