Dear Friends,
Education and nutrition go hand in hand. Thanks to your generous support, girls in rural Uganda are receiving nutritious school meals that enable them to learn, thrive, and remain in school.
This reporting period has brought renewed hope to many vulnerable girls whose families struggle to provide adequate daily meals. Through the project, girls received nutritious meals that improved their ability to concentrate and participate in class activities.
Teachers continue to report positive changes among beneficiaries, including improved attendance, increased attentiveness, and stronger classroom participation. Parents have shared that the program has eased financial pressures while encouraging their daughters to continue their education.
The impact extends beyond the classroom. Proper nutrition contributes to healthier growth, improved well-being, and greater confidence among girls. By addressing hunger, we are helping remove a major obstacle that prevents many girls from reaching their full potential.
As food prices continue to rise, the need for school feeding support remains critical. Yet because of your generosity, girls can attend school knowing they will receive a nutritious meal that supports both their health and education.
Every meal served represents an investment in a girl's future. Every donation contributes to stronger communities and brighter opportunities.
Thank you for helping us ensure that no girl is forced to choose between hunger and education.
Together, we are building a future where every girl has the opportunity to succeed.
Warm regards,
The Girl Child Foundation Uganda
