SUPPORTING GIRLS DURING CHALLENGING TIMES

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

Economic hardships and rising food prices continue to affect many families across rural Uganda. Thanks to your support, our school feeding initiative is helping vulnerable girls navigate these challenges while remaining focused on their education.

Throughout this reporting period, nutritious meals were provided to girls attending partner schools. For many beneficiaries, these meals represented a vital source of daily nourishment and stability. Teachers reported that students appeared more energetic and engaged during lessons, contributing to a more productive learning environment.

Parents continue to share stories of how the project has eased household burdens and enabled their daughters to remain in school. In communities where food insecurity remains a concern, school meals are playing an important role in protecting educational opportunities.

The project also continues to foster collaboration between schools, families, and community leaders. Their support strengthens accountability and ensures the program reaches those who need it most.

While challenges remain, the resilience demonstrated by beneficiaries continues to inspire us. Girls are attending school, working hard in their studies, and pursuing their dreams despite difficult circumstances.

Thank you for standing with vulnerable girls during challenging times. Your generosity is providing nourishment, encouragement, and hope while helping create pathways toward a brighter and more secure future.
