Nutritious School Meals for Girls in Rural Uganda

We are grateful for your continued partnership in supporting girls' education through the Nutritious School Meals for Girls in Rural Uganda Project.

This reporting period, nutritious meals helped girls attend school more consistently and participate actively in learning. Teachers observed improvements in punctuality, attentiveness, and classroom engagement among beneficiaries. Students appeared more confident and motivated to take part in educational activities.

For many households facing food insecurity, the feeding program provides critical support that enables girls to remain focused on their studies. Parents have expressed appreciation for the role the project plays in encouraging regular attendance and reducing barriers to learning.

The project team worked closely with school administrators to monitor progress and maintain accountability. Community stakeholders also continued to support implementation efforts, helping strengthen local ownership and sustainability.
