SUPPORTING GROWTH, LEARNING, AND CONFIDENCE

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

We extend our sincere appreciation to all donors who continue to invest in the future of girls through the Nutritious School Meals for Girls in Rural Uganda Project.

Throughout this reporting period, girls attending partner schools received nutritious meals that supported their physical well-being and academic development. Teachers observed positive changes in classroom participation, concentration, and student confidence. Many girls demonstrated greater willingness to engage in lessons and collaborate with their peers.

The feeding program continues to address the challenges associated with food insecurity by ensuring that students have access to the nutrition they need to learn effectively. Parents have reported that the support provided through the project has reduced household pressures and encouraged regular school attendance.

In addition to educational benefits, the program promotes personal growth by creating a supportive learning environment where girls can build self-esteem and develop essential life skills. Community leaders and school staff continue to play an active role in implementation and monitoring efforts.

Thank you for supporting growth, learning, and confidence. Your generosity is helping girls gain the tools they need to succeed academically and personally while creating opportunities that can positively influence their futures for years to come.
