HUNGER SHOULD NEVER DECIDE WHO GETS AN EDUCATION

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

Imagine trying to learn while worrying about where your next meal will come from. For many girls in rural Uganda, this is a daily reality. Hunger remains one of the greatest barriers to education, often forcing students to miss classes or abandon school altogether.

Thanks to your generous support, we are changing that reality.

During this reporting period, hundreds of nutritious meals were provided to girls attending our partner schools. Teachers reported stronger attendance rates, better concentration, and increased participation in lessons. Students who previously struggled to stay engaged due to hunger are now actively contributing in class and performing better academically.

The impact extends far beyond the classroom. Parents report reduced household stress and greater confidence in their daughters' educational futures. Communities are witnessing firsthand how proper nutrition can unlock potential and improve educational outcomes.

Each meal served sends a powerful message to a girl: you matter, your education matters, and your future matters.

Your generosity is helping ensure that poverty and hunger do not determine a child's destiny. Instead, girls are gaining the opportunity to learn, grow, and pursue their ambitions with confidence.

Thank you for standing with these students and proving that every girl deserves the chance to learn without hunger standing in her way.
