For many girls in rural Uganda, staying in school is not simply a matter of determination—it is often a matter of survival. Hunger remains one of the leading reasons why vulnerable girls miss classes, struggle academically, or eventually drop out altogether. Thanks to your generosity, that story is changing.
During this reporting period, your support provided nutritious school meals that helped girls attend classes consistently and participate more actively in their education. Teachers reported improvements in concentration, attendance, and overall engagement. Girls who previously struggled with fatigue and hunger are now arriving at school ready to learn and eager to succeed.
One teacher shared that students receiving meals are more confident and willing to participate in classroom discussions. Parents have also reported positive changes at home, noting increased enthusiasm for school and improved academic commitment among their daughters.
Your support does more than fill empty stomachs. It protects dreams, restores hope, and creates opportunities for girls to pursue education without the constant burden of hunger.
Thank you for showing these girls that someone cares. Your generosity is helping them remain in school today while building the foundation for a brighter tomorrow.
